Another article on Forbes.com (link is below) just popped up discussing the enormous benefits from meditation. This is one of the biggest trends in healthcare, as meditation clearly reduces stress, and improves concentration, focus, hormone regulation, moods, and brain health.
Meditation is also the best way to change your thinking, perspective and habits. It is pretty much a necessity.
My own brain is akin to a ping pong ball in a jar, and I have trouble sitting still for more than 9 seconds, but I still force myself to meditate every morning for at least 15 minutes b/c I know it is necessary.
Virtually every one of my favorite authors and podcast hosts are ardent meditators as well.
