About Mary

Mary holds one of the strongest closing track records in JVM’s history. She has put up some of the most impressive pre-approval and closing numbers the company has ever seen, and she is known internally for her ability to push even the most complex files across the finish line.

As a Senior Closing Specialist, Mary is a hands-on coordinator, taking full ownership of each file from underwriting submission through funding. She clears conditions, manages closing timelines, coordinates with title and escrow, and ensures clients reach the closing table without delays. Her background as a property tax specialist gives her an uncommon edge in reviewing closing disclosures and catching tax-related issues that other closers might miss. Mary currently works remotely from Portland, Maine, a testament to the reach and flexibility of JVM’s technology and team infrastructure, and she brings the same rigor and responsiveness to her files remotely as she did when she was Bay Area-based.

Mary attended Kenyon College, where she earned a degree in International Studies with a concentration in Environmental Science. Prior to her mortgage career, she worked with a public interest research group focused on environmental advocacy and later thrived in the fast-paced environment of an emergency veterinary clinic. She now lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband and their two young childen, and enjoys hiking, camping, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
