Grant brings a blend of institutional lending experience and hands-on mortgage expertise to his role as a Senior Mortgage Analyst, with 6+ years in the industry and more than 700 loan files completed. His background in Texas banking gives him an especially strong foundation in FHA and VA government loan programs, first-time buyer financing, and the kind of complex file structuring that requires careful documentation review.

As a Senior Mortgage Analyst, Grant serves as the analytical backbone of each client’s file. He reviews loan applications and supporting documentation line by line, runs detailed qualification scenarios, builds out closing cost estimates, and ultimately matches each client with the mortgage product that best fits their goals. His role requires not just guideline knowledge but judgment: knowing when a file qualifies cleanly, when it needs a creative structure, and when to flag a potential issue early so the Client Advisor and client can adjust course before it becomes a problem. Grant works in close coordination with the Client Advisor and Closing Specialist assigned to each file, ensuring the handoff at every stage is seamless.

Grant earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Banking Finance from the University of Arkansas. Prior to JVM, he worked at one of Texas’s most prominent financial institutions, where he managed complex client files and implemented new lending technology systems. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Grant enjoys spending his free time on the golf course.
