Emily Scioscia is an integral member of JVM’s Mortgage Analyst and Pre-Approval Team, where she manages complex borrower files and educates clients in regard to the homebuying process. Prior to JVM, Emily worked extensively with local government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Focusing primarily on water utilities, she created an invaluable database for State Revolving Fund criteria for eligible grant projects.
Emily graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Political Economics. In addition, she earned the Cal Alumni Association Leadership Award in recognition of the many leadership positions she held while also balancing a particularly demanding course load. In her “free time,” Emily also held the Chairman position of her sorority’s Leadership Committee, where her primary role was appointing and training executive members for the sorority’s philanthropy board.
Emily grew up in San Diego, California, where she fell in love with the beach and developed a passion for ocean conservation. She enjoys camping, cheering on the San Diego Padres, and trying out new breakfast spots in her free time.
