We loved the email not just because it was so nice (we get emails like this every week), but because the Realtor works in a market that is over 60 miles from our office. We also work with Realtors in LA and San Diego as well. My point is that JVM’s system and service travel really well.
And just to make sure we travel well, every six months we play “Geography-Jeopardy” – a game unique to JVM that ensures everyone at JVM knows virtually every market we serve – inside and out.
We split into three teams, and everyone must answer questions regarding a specific area within CA. Questions involve locations of cities, major landmarks, population estimates, and median home prices.
We play for money to make the game more fun and to make sure the stakes are high. This is b/c we know the stakes will be even higher if we don’t fully understand every market we serve.
