Heejin and I work so well together b/c one of us is highly organized :).
I thought of this yesterday when Tim Ferriss said: “If you add more people to an inefficient process, you just get even more inefficiency.”
This seems so obvious, but we often see individuals and companies try to solve all problems by hiring more people. It almost never works.
Before hiring, organizations need to set up systems, set out job duties and create a solid plan for growing the business. This is difficult, but necessary.
We often see Realtors who are convinced that additional bodies will be a panacea when they really just need to make what they have work better.
We speak from experience, as we hired too fast and too soon in 2013.
