As a Business Development Officer, David Lofton brings over twenty years of sales and management experience to the JVM team, having honed his unique ability to build lasting client relationships and to manage a high volume of accounts. David began his career at one of the country’s largest supermarket chains, working his way up to senior management before transitioning to consumer electronics. It was in the electronics field that David cultivated his exceptional sales skills. He not only consistently exceeded company and personal goals on a monthly basis, he was also responsible for creating the company’s sales education programs and increasing store efficiencies.
After 11 years in consumer electronics, David transitioned to the food distribution industry where he quickly rose up to a District Manager role. He again found substantial success building and maintaining large numbers of fruitful relationships with customers, vendors and team members. He also was very adept at helping his independent contractor-clients to build their businesses, a skill that is proving invaluable at JVM where David is assisting our agent-partners in a very similar manner.
Outside of work, David can be found playing with his grandsons and spending time with his family. When he has time, David also enjoys fishing or playing a round of golf.
