Calling Listing Agents and Touting Offers/Buyers

We frequently remind Realtors and borrowers that we are happy to call listing agents to tout the strength of our pre-approved buyers. This makes it more likely that our buyer’s offer will be accepted for a variety of reasons.

First of all, we personally know or have worked with many listing agents in the area and this connection imbues much more confidence in the offer.

In addition, we let listing agents know that our “pre-approvals” are airtight, and accompanied by a complete file, a complete pre-underwrite, a DU approval and a complete vetting of all potential issues. We also tout our ability to close in 14 days and the skill of the handpicked appraisers in our Appraisal Management Company.

We are unique among all mortgage companies with respect to the enormous quantity of time, effort and diligence we put into every pre-approval. This makes our pre-approvals as good as “cash” and we let listing agents know it. This in turn gets offers accepted.
