    A “CEO Coach” recently reached out to me on LinkedIn.

    We had mutual connections and his pitch was quite enticing, so I googled him.

    And – his digital footprint was lacking, so I quickly moved on.

    This reminded me of our own Digital Audits for our Agent Partners and how extremely important they are in this day and age.

    I used to do Digital Marketing presentations, during which I would discuss the importance of enhancing one’s digital footprint.

    I would point out that studies show that 93% of all potential clients will google you before engaging your services.

    Those studies, however, are several years old and I suspect that percentage is approaching 100% now.

    I for one google every single person or firm I plan to work with.


    I’ve blogged several times about an agent we work with who closes over 150 transactions per year.

    A major reason why is her “Google presence,” as it is practically perfect.

    When people google just her name, she dominates “page one” of the search results – with five-star reviews, Yelp, Zillow, Reach150, Facebook, website, brokerage, and LinkedIn info all showing as the top-listed results.

    To obtain similar results, agents need to engage in both a Digital Audit and Digital Clean Up. Neither is difficult, but there is an art to the process.
