Tenacity & Focus vs. Training, Seminars, Self-Help, Organizing, Inputting, & Fixing Your Business

Of all the agents we work with (over 800 and counting), one of the most successful, by far, is a buyer’s agent on a very successful team.

She is successful via every major metric – units, total volume, and income.

What makes her so successful though is simply her tenacity and focus.

She does not worry about fashion, social media, training, self-help, organizing, data input, rah rah events, awards, meetings or anything else but finding homes for buyers.

She is insanely tenacious and a “tough cookie” to work with as a lender, to put it euphemistically. :)

Her time management skills are excellent and she does not have to put in a lot of hours b/c she gets distracted by nothing.

She gets up every day and does one thing – finds homes for buyers and relentlessly does everything she can to get offers accepted.

She is fearless too, and unafraid to ask anyone for anything. She is also more likely to put a buyer into a home than other agent we work with.

When we send her a pre-approval letter, the odds that it will turn into a closed loan are probably higher than they are for any other agent we work with.

This is a reminder for ALL of us to sell first and manage, train, dress up, learn, look for awards, and fix our business second.

Mark Cuban’s famous quote is “Sales Cures All.” If we all sold more, we probably would not need to fix our business or train more in any case.

To paraphrase Al Davis – Just sell baby! Or at least sell first before doing anything else.
