Avg. Tech Wage: $240,000; Must Copy Realtors With Borrower Summaries

A friend emailed me a statistic that said the average wage at tech companies in San Mateo County is $240,000. This is amazing but not that surprising to us b/c so many of our borrowers work for tech companies.

This is important to us as lenders and Realtors b/c these borrowers need to be treated differently than other borrowers. They are young and smart, but also naive in many ways and very demanding. They also are well-aware of how qualified they are.

B/c of these factors, these borrowers require top notch and very responsive service, and a special form of diplomatic communication. These borrowers are night and day different from the contractors, firefighters, nurses, etc. we also deal with on a daily basis.

This is why we always copy our referring Realtors and our entire team with our detailed “Borrower Summary Emails” that go into every file. It is extremely important for any high-end service provider to know exactly whom they are dealing with in order to maximize service levels and client satisfaction.
