Beau McGlasson is JVM’s Appraisal Manager, an extremely important and necessary position in light of how complex and demanding today’s appraisal environment is. Beau not only ensures that every appraisal is ordered, completed, received and disbursed as quickly as possible, but he is also tasked with knowing all essential appraisal guidelines, knowing the appraisers themselves, and knowing California’s many cities and neighborhoods inside and out. Beau employs his extensive knowledge to review every appraisal and to know how to best deal with every issue that arises. Beau has also been fully trained as a Mortgage Analyst at JVM, enabling him to understand the important role that timely and high quality appraisals play in the mortgage financing process.
Beau was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Houston where he studied English Literature, Political Science and Philosophy, and Film Studies. As a transplant to the Bay Area, Beau enjoys immersing himself in the arts, culture, and nature that the region has to offer, and has even begrudgingly come to enjoy California-style Mexican food. While in college, Beau worked for multiple literary journals as a genre editor and he continues to volunteer for journals in his free time. He currently lives in Oakland, where you can see him riding his big, red bike.
