Realtors offer to spend as much $100,000 promoting listings; they tout their enormous databases of wealthy buyers; they show-off their intricate knowledge of local homes and markets; they promote themselves shamelessly; and they offer to hold high-end cocktail parties in lieu of open houses.
We especially appreciate the last idea b/c that is exactly what we are helping one of our Realtors do for a $1.4 million listing in Oakland. We are printing and sending out invitations today in fact. We have seen this done with great success by other Realtors as well. Call us for details.
