As first time home buyers, my wife and I needed a lot of guidance. We read a lot of books and guides on finding a mortgage, but the reality of it was a lot different from the theory. Whenever I had any questions, Heejin and her staff answered them quickly and concisely (I think her Blackberry is permanently attached to her hand). She treats you as if you were her only client although she has many. Whether it was morning, evening, or a weekend, she was always available and handling our case and the inevitable hiccups that arose. I liked how she just handled communicating with the bank, real estate, escrow, and title companies. If I tried to do that on my own I would have been completely lost.
The big surprise came at the end when we got a big, fat rebate check. She refunded us the cost of our home inspection which I think is unheard of. Heejin said that she wanted to cut out all “junk” items in the closing costs saying that it was “good karma.” Well, I really appreciate all she did for us and hope that good karma does come her way.
